Banish the mulled wine

If mulled wine was really that good, wouldn't we drink it all year round? Because you know what we do drink all year round? Beer. In our opinion, and lots of other totally-non-biased people's, beer is the best thing to put with food. The flavours are more varied, the taste more balanced, the carbonation cleansing and the alcohol more manageable. We'll go even deeper and say that this saison with your roast dinner will beat any wine hands down. Christmas beer doesn't just mean liquorice Belgian beer, or spiced porters. It means dubbels with (beer spiked!) mince pies, IPAs with leftover turkey curry, gueuze and goat's cheese.

There is a beer for everyone.
