One of Germany's oldest breweries with monastic roots in the town of Kempten, in the region of Allgäu. Drawing upon various brewing traditions that have existed for longer than the 625 year milestone that the brewery celebrated in 2019, an amalgamation of several commercial brewing enterprises spiritually centred around Kempten but growing into neighbouring Marktoberdorf / Leuterschach.
 
Distinctly fresh on the palate, lightly hopped yet balanced, spicy, racy, and full of character. The ideal accompaniment to hearty dishes, aromatic game dishes, and grilled meats.
